VeChain (VEN) Partners With Largest Telecommunication Company In Japan

Not long that Ethereum World News reported that VeChain (VEN) is being tapped by the Chinese Government to provide drugs and vaccines traceability solution to the whole China, the blockchain company has revealed that in its efforts to dish out more traceability solutions and state of the art use cases, it is partnering with NTT Docomo, the largest telecommunication company in Japan.

VeChain, in a release today declared that it had been selected by NTT Docomo to be among the first batch of partners for the 5G Open Partner Program launched by NTT Docomo.

By 2020, NTT Docomo desires to make industrial usage of 5G, a high-speed/capacity network service, so, it is creating a network of partners suitable to take its version of 5G to a new land.

Through NTT Docomo’s 5g protocol, VeChain, a respected enterprise public blockchain platform, wants to provide next-generation technology services.

“Our goal is to enhance and enrich our current data services capacity within traceability, supply chain management, and smartphones for our users,” VeChain said in a press release, adding that “with our ongoing effort to bring traceability use cases in Japan into our ecosystem, the 5G program will bring additional value to VeChain’s presence in the region”.

The partnership will give VeChain the potential to collaborate with multiple cross-industry enterprises, opening doors for further cooperation on new endeavors.

Due to this latest collaboration, VeChain made known that many new partnerships have been formulated and services will be onboarded to the VeChainThor Blockchain.

This partnership at the moment has given VeChain the power to romance a leading company in one of the most notable Japanese industries. It is sure that VeChain’s strength coupled with NTT Docomo’s 5G will make the VeChainThor Blockchain stronger.

Founded in 1991, NTT Docomo is a household name in the telecommunication industry, its program Docomo 5G Open Partner Program is centered on materializing industrial usage of 5G in 2020. The program was launched in Feb. 2018 to include nay partners under the 5G environment.

Partners in this program include large and small-scale firms in areas such as banking, automobile, media, pharmaceuticals, insurance, IT service, etc.
