LTC\/USD declined sharply and is currently testing the $110 support.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Talking Points<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Litecoin price was not able to gain momentum above $123 and declined (Data feed of Kraken) against the US Dollar.<\/li>\n<li>There was a break below a connecting bullish trend line with support at $116 on the hourly chart of the LTC\/USD pair.<\/li>\n<li>The pair is currently trading near a crucial support at $110, which holds a lot of importance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Litecoin Price Forecast<\/h2>\n<p>Yesterday, we saw a <a href=\"https:\/\/ethereumworldnews.com\/litecoin-price-analysis-ltc-usd-gaining-bullish-momentum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">nice recovery<\/a> above the $115 level in litecoin price against the US dollar. The LTC\/USD pair was able to move above the $120 resistance.<\/p>\n<p>However, the upside move was capped by the $123.00 level and it seems like the price failed to gain momentum above $120. A top was formed at $122.81 and the price declined below $120.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ethereumworldnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Litecoin_Price_Chart-6.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-8927\" src=\"https:\/\/ethereumworldnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Litecoin_Price_Chart-6-1024x520.png\" alt=\"Litecoin Price Analysis\" width=\"1024\" height=\"520\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ethereumworldnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Litecoin_Price_Chart-6-1024x520.png 1024w, https:\/\/ethereumworldnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Litecoin_Price_Chart-6-300x152.png 300w, https:\/\/ethereumworldnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Litecoin_Price_Chart-6-770x391.png 770w, https:\/\/ethereumworldnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Litecoin_Price_Chart-6.png 1822w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>During the decline, there was a break below a connecting bullish trend line with support at $116 on the hourly chart of the LTC\/USD pair. The pair also broke the 50% Fib retracement level of the last wave from the $111 low to $123 high.<\/p>\n<p>It opened the doors for more losses and the price even cleared the $115 support and the 100 hourly simple moving average. It tested the last swing support at $111.00 and is currently consolidating above the mentioned level.<\/p>\n<p>An initial resistance is near the 23.6% Fib retracement level of the last decline from the $122.81 high to $111.60 low. However, the most important barrier for buyers is close to $116 and the 100 hourly SMA.<\/p>\n<p>A break above the 100 hourly SMA could push the price above the $120 level in the short term. On the flip side, if the price fails to correct higher, it may perhaps break the $110 support.<\/p>\n<p>Below $110 support, there is a risk of slide back towards the $100 handle in the near term.<\/p>\n<p><em>Trade safe traders and do not overtrade!<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Litecoin price failed to move above the $125 resistance against the US Dollar.
