Milestone for Cardano and Infinito Wallet: First Mobile Wallet App Support

With the version 1.15.0 arriving as an update for the Infinito Wallet, accordingly to the team’s announcement: ADA’s support on the mobile app is available for sending, receiving and over-viewing transact/history.

A very important and to be noted out step for both sides, Cardano‘s team and Infinito Wallet’s, as it is the first to make it possible for traders and investors store ADA on a mobile application as there are non currently available. Infinito developers have worked with the development team behind Cardano and IOHK, and they utilized their official Cardano Rust project to seamlessly integrate ADA-support into the Infinito Wallet.

“Infinito Wallet serves as a gateway for users to maximize usage and potentials of their cryptocurrencies. By selectively expanding our partner network, Infinito Wallet aims to build an ecosystem of practical blockchain services including exchanges, ID/KYC solutions, and other blockchain-related business services. At the same time, we help support communities of developers and businesses with an open blockchain infrastructure of technologies and compliant-ready services, so that they can seamlessly build, launch, and operate innovative products and services efficiently.”

Until now, Cardano ADA was only available via the Daedalus wallet, a desktop application built specifically for ADA. As this was desktop based though, Daedalus was cumbersome and far less convenient than it’s mobile rival.

If everything goes by the team’s plan, Infinito wallet roadmap has it written that on the fourth quarter of 2018 the launch of version 2.0 is set to come. Out of many improvements, additional support of various blockchain mainnets will be included.
