Verge is receiving another massive attacks from who is who in the cryptocurrency world, after it stylishly denied a colossal hack.

An observer, who has wealth of experience in cryptocurrency and hacking had earlier said the attack is beyond DDOS, maintaining that Verge should come out open and declare to enthusiasts how damaging it is.
Another observer, by the name ocminer, who operates an altcoin mining pool Suprnova, said the attacker successful forked the Verge blockchain through a 51 percent attack. He maintained that the hacker, entered through a bug in the Verge code which gave room for malicious miners to introduce false timestamps on blocks and then rapidly mine new ones in quick sequence, making it the second time 51% of the Cryptocurrency network will be taken over.
In recent time, Verge had suffered series of attacks, from its blockchain, to twitter. However this is generating more heat than the past attacks.
One of the frequent assaulter of Verge (XVG), every time the cryptocurrency is being alleged of hack or made any stunt, is the founder of Litecoin, Charlie Lee. Again, the cryptocurrency guru, who was a formal staff at Coinbase and Google, attacked Verge saying it seems PornHub transactions are being reversed in the ongoing hack.

Recently, Pornhub partnered with Verge, and the coin was stagnant for a while. Before the partnership, Verge went on a crowdfunding to be able to seal the deal with the company saying it will partner with a “vast network of high traffic sites.
